Fecha: Martes 2 jun. 2020 - domingo 30 ago. 2020 Mostrar mapa
You will be dropped off from your Basic Fjordsafari, then hike up to a small mountain farm where you will enjoy a local lunch made of self produce and taste goat cheese from the farm.
Join us on an active adventure from the fjord to the mountain!
We start the day with a FjordSafari on the Aurlandsfjord to the great Sagfossen waterfall in the Unesco listed Nærøyfjord. On the way back we go ashore at Skjerdal wharf, where we start the hike towards Leim mountain goat farm. The hike takes about 1-1,5 hours and we will be ascending the valley going up to 400 meters in altitude. During the hike you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery, fjord view and waterfalls.
Upon arrival, the hostess will give you a tour of the farm and show you some secrets behind making the traditional goat cheese. In this magnificent setting, you can relax on the farmhouse terrace and enjoy a goat cheese tasting and a delicious lunch made of local produce. We hike back down to Skjerdal and go back to Flåm by minivan.
Please inform us in advance if you have any allergies or are pregnant. The cheese served at the farm is unpasteurized.
No hiking experience needed, but a reasonable physical fitness level is required for the up hill hike. The trip is suited for those wanting an active trip.
You’ll need sturdy walking shoes/trainers and clothes suited for the outdoors, rain attire if needed. Bring a water bottle.
Daily tours from June - August, except mondays.
NB! The farm is open from July 1st - August 30th.
The tours in June includes a catered local lunch and cheese from the farm.
